Mercedes Benz AMG has been working for over two years on this project. The rumormill is all abuzz with the latest electric version of the gullwinged big star. The gestation period has been long but the new version is going to be the perfect face of the future.

Autocar reports that this electric SLS shares the lightweight body features combining with the interiors of SLS. The changes for eDrive continue to be driven by powertrain. There will be 98 KW motors, one at each wheel for a totaling of 392 KW or 532 bhp.

Mercedez Benz Working on Electric SLS eDrive

It will have a 649 lb. ft. of torque. A well speculated 62 mph time of below 4 seconds and high speed of 120 mph has been estimated to be going for the Tesla Roadster. The SLS eDrive would definitely be charging higher than most cars at certain points.
