GM is looking to close down the production of Pontiac Vibe in the coming august, expressed by GM (General Motors) on Thursday afternoon. GM has officially announced that it will shut down the production of the Pontiac Vibe which is a small wagon and GM is going to do all this for their long-term possibility plan along with the wind-down of the small wagon, Pontiac brand.The production of this brand was started in March for the coming year’s 2010 model.

Pontiac vibe is assembled as joint venture and production of GM with the help and support of Toyota in Fremont, Calif. This site is also known for producing a similar kind of vehicle like Vibe that is known as Toyota Matrix. GM is in contact and discussion with Toyota about their future plans and also regarding the future role of the plant.

Pontiac Vibe is a very graceful vehicle that comes with two inline four-cylinder engines; it also offers some other features like all-wheel-drive along with the GT version as well. Pontiac Vibe is ideally designed for five passengers.
